THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT: During a job or contract the company may require personal data about you such as name, address, phone number, email. This information is solely collected for contractual or legal purposes or to ensure the correct completion of the job or contract being requested.
THE INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE VOLUNTARILY TO US: In order to create an account on our ordering portal (GotPhoto), you will need to provide us with basic contact information, such as your name, company name, email address and telephone number. You will also need to create a login password. It is also possible to place an order without registering. In order to process orders, we will need to collect delivery information (such as delivery address, contact person, contact telephone number etc.), as well as payment information. We use a payment services provider, Stripe.
CONTACT US At times you may wish to contact the company via telephone or email. In these circumstances we may hold your contact information for as long as is required to complete the enquiry or for a period of six months whichever is longer.
OUR USE OF THE INFORMATION The company may communicate with you regarding the completion of a specific job, order or other request but will not use your information for marketing purposes once a job has been completed. All data with Gotphoto is held on their website/servers but they have no access to this unless permission is granted by the company and it is not used for any purpose other than to provide functionality sufficient to complete an order or job. Where customers have requested purchases to be sent directly to their home address this information will be passed onto Simlab for distribution purposes only. The company does not sell your data.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT We retain customer information for up to two years after the completion of any job unless the information is required to be kept for longer due to statutory or regulatory requirements. Your online account and order data is stored for a number of years as required by law.
PROTECTING IMAGES The nature of the business is photography. Photographs taken are solely for the purpose of selling back to the customer and images are not sold on to third parties. Where images are used for website, social media, advertising or marketing then prior written permission from the customer will be sought first. Images are stored on a password protected back up drive and kept for up to 5 years to allow customers to re order. Photographs can be deleted earlier than this if requested by the customer. Images are not tagged by name or any other personal details unless specifically required to do so and they will then be password protected. Any device containing such images is password protected.
YOUR RIGHTS You may contact the company at any time on davina@photographybydavina.co.uk to unsubscribe from communications, anonymise information or request copies of or changes to your personal information Online or account information can be anonymised or managed by yourself within the account settings.
